1. When do I have to register ?

The earlier you register for your German course the better. There are about 10 – 15 participants in our classes, which means that we can only accept a limited number of participants. The earlier we receive your application and deposit, the easier it is for us to meet your wishes in terms of courses, accommodation or visa. A rule of thumb is: If you want to reserve a German course without visa requirement, you should do so at least 2 to 3 weeks before the German courses start.

Should you need a visa for Germany, please ensure that you leave enough time to complete all the relevant paper work. You can count on us and we are glad to help you. After your payment we can issue a confirmation of the registration which you can present at the embassy.

2. How can I register ?

Please reserve your place by email, telephone or fax. As soon as you have transferred the course fee, simply send us a copy of the payment receipt (per Email or Fax), and we will keep a place in the German course open for you. As soon as the money comes into our bank account, we will make a booking for you and send you confirmation Email (or Fax) including all necessary information.

3. How can I pay the course fee ?

You can pay either by cash at our office or by bank transfer. If you have insufficient funds to pay for the your course, then you can get credit online in our bank and pay tuition in parts.

Unless otherwise arranged, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of course and accommodation fees on cancellation 10 days before the course starts. If the course is cancelled 5 days before the start of the course or when the course has started, 100% of the course fees and of accommodation fees have to be paid. It is possible to transfer your enrolment to another person for the same course dates.

5. How to make reservations from other countries ?

If you are reserving your German courses at Han Languages Institute from outside Germany, it is best to register and transfer the money for the German course and/or accommodation 4 weeks in advance. The earlier we receive your application and deposit, the easier it is for us to meet your wishes in terms of courses, accommodation or visa.

7. Where is the Han Languages Institute located ?

The Han Languages Institute is located in the centre of Darmstadt downtown and it is very easy to get to by public transport. All main shopping streets and important facilities(Technical University, City Library, Ausländeramt) are in neighbourhood.

We have various written tests you can do. Sometimes an oral test with a teacher is also necessary.
